1. Who We Are
AccessPark is a parking information service designed to help people find, save, submit, and report accessible parking spaces. In these terms, "AccessPark", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the AccessPark app and website.
If you need to contact us, use the contact details provided on the AccessPark website, app store listing, or official support channel.
2. Accepting These Terms
By using AccessPark, creating an account, saving a bay, submitting a parking space, or reporting a problem, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use AccessPark.
3. What AccessPark Does
AccessPark helps users discover accessible parking information. The app may show information from public sources, third-party map services, user submissions, admin reviews, and reports from the community.
AccessPark is an information tool. It does not grant permission to park, reserve a space, guarantee availability, or replace signs, road markings, local rules, permit terms, car park terms, Blue Badge rules, or instructions from enforcement authorities.
4. Parking Is Your Responsibility
You are responsible for checking whether you are legally allowed to park before you leave your vehicle. Always check current signs, road markings, payment requirements, time limits, loading restrictions, local schemes, private car park terms, and any Blue Badge requirements that apply.
Parking information can change without notice. We are not responsible for parking tickets, penalties, towing, vehicle damage, missed appointments, loss of access, or other consequences caused by relying only on information in AccessPark.
5. Accounts
You may need an account to save favourites, submit new spaces, report certain issues, or manage profile details. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and tell us if you believe your account has been used without permission.
We may suspend or restrict accounts that misuse AccessPark, submit false information, interfere with the service, or breach these terms.
6. Submissions And Reports
If you submit a parking space, report a problem, add notes, or provide other content, you must make reasonable checks that the information is accurate and lawful. Do not submit personal data about other people, offensive content, private access codes, unsafe instructions, or anything you do not have the right to share.
You keep ownership of content you submit, but you give AccessPark a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, edit, review, display, publish, and use that content for operating, improving, promoting, and supporting the AccessPark service.
We may review, edit, reject, remove, or keep submissions and reports at our discretion. Admin approval does not mean the information is guaranteed to be complete, current, safe, or legally correct.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not use AccessPark to:
- break the law or encourage unsafe parking;
- harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against anyone;
- submit false, misleading, malicious, or spam content;
- scrape, copy, or bulk-export data without permission;
- attempt to access admin features, accounts, systems, or data without permission;
- interfere with the security, availability, or proper operation of AccessPark.
8. Maps, Directions, And Location
AccessPark may use maps, location features, geocoding, and directions links from third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Map positions, routes, distances, and travel times are estimates and may be wrong.
Do not use AccessPark while driving or in any situation where using a device may be unsafe or illegal.
9. Privacy
We process personal information to operate AccessPark, including account details, saved spaces, submissions, reports, admin review data, and technical information needed to provide and protect the service.
AccessPark has a Privacy Policy explaining what data is collected, why it is used, how long it is kept, who it is shared with, and what rights users have.
10. Intellectual Property
AccessPark, including its branding, design, software, and original content, belongs to AccessPark or its licensors. You may use AccessPark only for personal, lawful, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
11. Availability And Changes
We may change, suspend, remove, or stop parts of AccessPark at any time. We may also update these terms. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to make users aware of them.
12. Disclaimers
AccessPark is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that AccessPark will always be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights you may have as a consumer.
13. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AccessPark will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, or profits arising from use of the service.
AccessPark is not responsible for fines, penalties, enforcement action, vehicle loss or damage, accessibility issues, or other consequences resulting from parking choices made by users.
14. Ending Access
You may stop using AccessPark at any time. We may suspend or end access if we believe there has been misuse, risk to other users, legal risk, security risk, or a breach of these terms.
15. Governing Law
Unless local law gives you mandatory rights that apply elsewhere, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
