About AccessPark
Accessible parking information for the journey beyond the parking bay.
Why accessible parking matters
A space near a destination is only part of an accessible journey. Room to transfer, a usable pavement and the route to the entrance can matter just as much as distance. AccessPark brings parking locations and available notes together so people can compare possible places to park before travelling.
AccessPark is an independent parking information service. It is not a council, a parking operator or a Blue Badge issuing authority, and it does not reserve spaces or give permission to park.
Information with clear limits
The map combines imported parking records with community submissions approved for publication. Imported records have not necessarily been inspected by AccessPark. A community review is a moderation decision, not a guarantee that a bay still exists or will suit every vehicle or access need.
Space counts describe the recorded number of bays, not how many are vacant now. Distances are straight-line estimates, not measurements of an accessible walking or wheeling route. Signs, restrictions and the conditions on the ground take priority.
Data sources and review standards explain these distinctions.
A community-maintained service
Local knowledge can identify things a map misses: a removed bay, an obstructed access aisle or an entrance on the other side of a building. Reports and new submissions go to the AccessPark team for review. Information suggesting a bay has disappeared or become inaccessible may be withheld while it is checked.
We welcome corrections without personal information about other drivers, vehicle registrations or private access codes. Feedback about access barriers and incomplete information helps prioritise the next review.
